Suzie Chung

Suzie Chung from Korea won the Wine Australia scolarship and is in Oz for 20 days to get experience in the wine industry. Suzie is an expert in food/wine matching and is heading to Brown Bros at Milawa to learn from their wonderful operation. Suzie (an old friend) came a couple of days early to help us pick the Pinot Noir. Here she is watching the Merlot colour up.

Barramundi

This is what a piece of filet of fair dinkum wild Barramundi should look like. Absolutely delicious! J Rubira hasn't lost his touch.

John Rubira

The great John Rubira is back in business at Swallows Hotel, Port Melbourne.

Sideways

Sorry, don't know why it went sideways! Here they are the right way up in the Old Redbank Smokehouse.

Smoked Pyrenees Lamb

Smoking some cured Pyrenees Lamb for the Flying Pig Deli. We are using shaving from old French Oak wine barrels to smoke with. A slight, but delightful wine aroma. This comes standard with the Ploughman's Lunch but you can request for the Antipasto Plate.

The Haggis

Garry Gow about to give the address to the Haggis. Lisa and Bree don't seem too certain, but it was delicious. Lots of Single Malt, beer and a selection of aged Sally's paddock helped to wash it down.

Burn's Night

A happy crew at the Burns Night in Redbank Winery.
